I bought some bags of compost potting soil from a large membership company. I used some to try and make some seeds grow. None of them grew. I then took some compost soil from my garden and tried again. They all sprouted and grew. Unfortunately I spread the store bought soil on my beds before the seeds "didn't" sprout. I mixed in some compost from my compost pile and that sort of worked but not so well. The one bed that was completely my home compost is growing like crazy. I am still nurturing along my mixed store bought compost mixed with my own natural compost. It isn't great but they are sort of starting to thrive, but not like the home only compost bed. Buyer beware Next year, home compost only.

Thank you. Such great information
love it - more than 2/3 of your focus is on composting - making your soil fertile and rich !
I'm looking forward to learning how to grow an abundance of rich and fertile soil.
Thank you so much for sharing this module with us Marjorie. Many of us do not have the know how yet but you're offering us the know how. :)
