I followed your directions EXPLICITLY... No Keystore was generated, visually, in the area that was shown in your video, but the Keystore was automatically saved for me. However, when my Theta Wallet was finally created, the public address that shows up in the upper right hand corner...is the EXACT series of numbers and letters as my Keystore! So...it's apparent that my Public Address that I am to give out to buy/sell Theta is actually the KEY to my Wallet!
I went back and tried to do a do-over to see if I missed anything from your tutorial. I did not...the same thing happened again. This is crazy...
Thank you for this tutorial! I've been wanting to know how to make a wallet but no one I know knows how to create one. Soooo...your video is much appreciated.
A huge question...instead of leaving all that info on my personal computer and not using Ledger or Trezor...can I just use a new Thumb Drive to store my Wallet AND my tokens and keep that in a safe place?
Thanks for the video on creating a Theta wallet. I had actually created one on my iphone before I saw this video and I never got or somehow maybe bypassed making the keystore. Not sure if that still is necessary or if you can still do it without changing what I already have set in place, which is the Mnemonic 12 word phrase plus my password? Would also love if you could make another video explaining the differences between theta, tfuel, warp and unwrap, staking and which ones you should get and how to make passive income with whichever one is suppose to be used?? Not real familiar with all these terms or how they are all used. Would love some explanations for them all if you are willing. You always do a very good job of explaining simply and throughly. And I always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks Marjory.
I never created a crypto wallet before so was excited that Marjory did this because no one I know buys crypto to help me.
Well...I followed Marjory's video to a T. My Keystore # automatically downloaded but it never showed up on my screen like it did on Marjory's in her video. When I got to the end of the process and now had my wallet...the upper right hand numbers of my Public Address, to be used for buying and selling Theta, was the exact same number of my Keystore that downloaded on it's own. So...giving my Public address to by Theta...I will be giving my Keystore #!!!!
I'm starting think I'm not supposed to buy crypto...
Gosh, I'm not sure what to tell you on that. I wouldn't think they would be the same. As I said, I never saw or got a keystore so all I have is my 12 word phrase and my password. Hopefully someone else can verify that for you.
Thanks for your reply. I'm now in communication with Theta. I now suspect the problem is the computer I used to create the wallet. It's not Bluetooth enabled. I will try on my laptop later today and see if that was the problem. The Theta website has been corresponding with me...they don't understand it either but I sent them an email suggesting the problem may have been my non-bluetooth situation. Thanks again:)

Glad you're getting some help with it!
Thank you...me too!
