Do some research on "Wholetones.com" . Healing Frequency Music. Done in 396Hz, 417Hz, 444Hz, 528Hz, 639Hz, 741Hz, and 852Hz.. The change from 432Hz to 44oHz.. happened some time around the rise of Hitler and was meant to create discord.

I'm a 45+ year violinist member of the American Federation of Musicians. Here's what really creates discord: When the concert master, who has another job at a much larger institution that tunes to a 441Hz A, won't tune his gazillion-dollar Strad back down to 440Hz for fear of upsetting his instrument.. and if you think THAT "creates discord," go and listen to the Chicago Symphony. Those guys tune to a 442Hz A. Imagine that...The truth is that pitch has risen over time due to the well-known phenomenon of pitch bias. People tend to play the third scale degree "sharp" (too high...). Authentic Baroque performance groups often tune to a 415Hz A. At one time, towns all had their own pitch. There was NO standardized pitch. And I have not noticed that tuning to a higher or lower pitch in and of itself is The Cause of discord, though I believe there's a limit to how high you can tune an instrument based on the fact that tonewood is carved to a pitch when making bowed stringed instruments. It's the disagreements caused by pitch bias that cause discord among the players as much as anything. Audience members mostly cannot tell differences in pitch with regard to tuning as their ears aren't professionally trained ;-)

While as a musician, T-Bone, I do not posses even a tiny amount of the knowledge you have accrued. I do know, through reading and study, some of the effects of frequencies that have been found to effect the human body.. We both know that a slight change in frequencies are not noticed by the average untrained ear, but the body itself seems to respond to frequencies off different amounts. The entire universe is built around frequencies, Light is a wave (frequency), Color we see is the reflection or absorption of Light (frequency), Sound is a wave (frequency), Everything we know that contains Atoms which move at varying rates (frequency), etc. So when we as humans hear a pleasant sound or a chord played, IF in tune (all sources in the SAME frequency) we like it. The same sound played by sources with different frequencies if the difference is great enough (untrained ear) we cringe at the unpleasant discord. Same as you described above. However my premise is based on the studies done by the Germans in or around WWII, where they purposely studied the effects of frequencies on the human body.. This was described in detail in the Wholetones book, which I can't locate. So there was a convention sometime ago to Unify musicians in all countries and that was when the push was to go with 440Hz. I cannot verify the who, what, where, and when on this because I can't find my reference book. But in line with this topic by Marjory Wildcraft and the Grow Network, she had some artists on who were touting the effects of sound at certain frequencies on the human body. So I posted this to pass on the info from "Wholetones.com". I get where you're coming from though. The effects on the human body are subliminal, meaning they may not be tacitly felt. The studies that are being conducted show that different frequencies effect different organs in the body. Some of this is pointed at weapons of war, and others to healing of the body. IF you wanted to effect an entire population in a negative way (create discord), Fear, Anxiety, Hate and other emotional reactions, then find a frequency that causes the body and mind to be effected that way and make all music to be centered around that frequency. In time you will create the desired effect and maybe illness at the same time. Not an expert by any stretch..
