What a wonderful share. Really appreciated the encouragement to discover what hidden abundance may laying about! And the advice about using herbs to avoid appetite fatique was great too. You are such a joy to watch....so transparent, humble, joyous!

Wild blueberries are all over the northeast, and no one picks them because we've been taught since we were kids not to eat berries you find in the woods. They don't look like grocery store blueberries, (or like cultivated Maine blueberries) so hikers assume they're some kind of poisonous mystery berry that's best left for the birds.

I'd suggest making mango chutney and canning it, or achar if you find green ones. (Achar is a savory condiment made from shredded green mango and spices) Edit: and mango salsa. I love mango salsa.

East Texas we have wild berries that I gather along fence lines. My neighbors are good with my pilfering as they are grateful for the baked goodies that I deliver throughout the year.

Question... What did you do with the live oak acorns? I just learned how to roast the acorns to make acorn coffee!

The coop would run out of dried mango, and it was expensive.
