I asked David the Good (a.k.a. “The Survival Gardener” to create a video all about growing tomatoes.
Now David has a gigantic - like Texas sized - sense of humor.
So when you watch this I know you’ll bust out laughing at least 5 fives.
Here is a ‘behind the scenes’ tidbit. I asked David to do this as I struggle from time to time growing tomatoes. A lot of years i get great crops - fabulous! Then, doomsday preppers. I figured it was because I’m not as good a gardener as I thought I was…..
Turns out almost everyone has some troubles growing tomatoes at times.
Even David.
So to get around the fact that despite decades of gardening experience, neither David nor I felt like experts, so we figured out a plan. David interviewed all the other gardening experts we knew and compiled their answers in this video.
But with a huge twist!
It’s not boring old “blah, blah, blah” it has David touch of hilarity.
Oh, and be sure to read the message on his t-shirt (smirk, smirk). That comes from another video David made for me which I’ll play for you uh, next week?

PS: cherry tomatoes are bulletproof. The bigger the tomato the more difficult. So don’t start out with beefsteaks… go for the little cherries. Plus the cherries are like candy. But good for you.
